Security

Last updated: 19 July 2026

When we build your shop a system, we also run it. That means keeping it safe is our job, not yours. Your customer list, your jobs, your invoices, your numbers — that's your business, and we treat it that way. This page explains, in plain English, how we protect it.

1. Where your system lives

Your system runs on the same major cloud providers that banks and hospitals use — not on a computer in someone's office.

  • Hosted in secure, professionally run data centers
  • Built to stay up when traffic spikes
  • Protected by network firewalls and layered isolation
  • Monitored around the clock for unusual activity

2. Encryption

Encryption means your data is scrambled so only your system can read it. We use the same standards banks use:

  • Moving data — everything sent between your crew's phones and your system travels encrypted (TLS 1.2 or newer).
  • Stored data — everything saved is encrypted at rest (AES-256).
  • Security certificates renewed automatically, keys kept under lock.

3. Who can get in

Access is on a need-to-see basis — for your crew and for us.

  • You decide who on your crew sees what. A tech doesn't have to see your numbers.
  • On our side, only the people who work on your system can touch it, and they sign in with multi-factor authentication.
  • Every important action is logged, so there is always a record of who did what.

4. Backups

Losing your records is not an option, so we don't rely on hope:

  • Your data is backed up automatically every day, encrypted.
  • Backups are kept separately from the live system.
  • We test recovery, so a backup is never just a checkbox.

5. Testing without touching your data

When we build or change something, we do it in a separate copy of the system first — never live on your real records.

  • Work-in-progress runs in its own isolated environment.
  • We never use your real customer data for testing.
  • Changes reach your live system only after they have been checked.

6. If something goes wrong

No one can honestly promise perfect security or zero downtime — anyone who does is selling you something. What we promise is how we respond:

  • If your system has a problem, fixing it is our job — you don't file a ticket and wait in line.
  • If your data is ever affected by a security incident, we tell you promptly and plainly, as the law requires and as you'd expect from someone you know.
  • Outages at outside providers (hosting, payments, phone or text services) are outside our control, but working around them is still our problem to handle.

7. Updates to this page

As we improve how we protect client systems, we will update this page with a new “Last updated” date.
